REQUIREMENTS FOR RENEWAL OF EXPIRED PASSPORT:
The Passport application must be submitted in person. The applicant must sign the application in the presence of the Officer in Charge of Passports. The signature MUST BE exactly as it appears in the Panamanian personal ID1. The following documents are required for the processing of the passport:

the applicant does not hold a Cedula, two forms of 2) An additional form must be completed if the previous passport has been lost or stolen.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Panamanian by Naturalization: Original birth certificate from country of origin. Minors: At least one parent must appear with the minor to submit the application. A notarized statement of consent authorizing passport issuance for the child signed by both parents must be submitted. If the non applying parent is not reachable, a Judicial Declaration for an additional fee is necessary to be completed by the applying parent at the Consulate. Processing Time: 12 Weeks
